Achraf Hakimi Mouh ( born 4 November 1998) is a Moroccan professional football player who competes for both the Morocco national team and Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain. He primarily plays right back, although he is also capable of playing left back and winger.
Hakimi graduated from the youth program of Real Madrid. He signed up with Real Madrid Castilla in 2016, and in 2017 he was elevated to the main team. He was sent a two-year loan to Borussia Dortmund of the Bundesliga, where he won the DFL-Supercup in 2019. After joining Inter Milan in Serie A for an alleged sum of €40 million, he contributed to the club's first Serie A championship in 11 years in 2020–21. Then, in 2021, he was acquired by Paris Saint-Germain for a rumored. Then, Paris Saint-Germain tagged him in 2021 for a disclosed fee of €60 million.
Hakimi was born in Spain to Moroccan guardians; he competed for Morocco at the under-20 level before making his senior international presentation at the age of 17 in 2016. He was chosen to represent Morocco in the FIFA World Cup teams in 2018 and 2022, as well as the Africa Cup of Nations teams in 2019 and 2021. Hakimi, who was raised by Moroccan parents in Madrid, Spain, joined Real Madrid's youth program in 2006 at the age of eight. In the opening game of the 2016 International Champions Cup, a 3-1 loss against Paris Saint-Germain, Hakimi made his Real Madrid debut. After making his senior debut on August 20, 2016, he later joined the B squad, starting in a 3-2 home victory over Real Sociedad B in the Segunda División B. Hakimi was given the number 19 shirt and promoted to the main team on August 19, 2017, replacing Dani Carvajal and Nacho. On October 1, he started in a 2-0 home victory over Espanyol to make his debut for his first team and in La Liga. On December 9, 2017, in a 5-0 victory over Sevilla, he scored his first La Liga goal. He added a second goal to a 6-0 victory over Celta Vigo on May 12, 2018. He made two appearances as Madrid won the 2017–18 UEFA Champions League, their third straight and overall title, becoming him the first Moroccan player to do so. Subsequent to addressing Morocco at under-17 and under-20 levels, Hakimi made his presentation for the under-23s on 5 June 2016, in a 1-0 cordial win over Cameroon U23s. He made his full worldwide introduction on 11 October 2016, coming on as a substitute for Fouad Chafik in a 4-0 win against Canada. He scored his most memorable global objective on 1 September 2017, netting the fourth in a 6-0 home directing of Mali. In May 2018, he was named in Morocco's primer crew for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and on 4 June he was named in the last 23-man crew for the late spring tournament.
Hakimi was likewise called up for the 2021 Africa Cup of Countries in Cameroon. He began all of his matches in the gathering stages. He scored a free kick in a 2-2 tie against Gabon. He began in the round of 16 against Malawi, scoring a free kick in the 70th moment to concede his group the victory. On 10 November 2022, Hakimi was named in Morocco's 26-man crew for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Despite the fact that Hakimi's assets are purportedly kept in his mother's name, Abouk reportedly asked for more than half of his money. That assertion is contested as being true. Hakimi is an adherent of Islam. Hakimi was charged with rape on March 3, 2023, in Paris by an investigating judge. She was then placed under court supervision.
